Warsaw, 16 May 2018 – The Polish Federation of Supplement Manufacturers and Distributors, an Employer’s Association, and BDO Technology, an advisory and technological company, signed a letter of intent on strategic partnership. The purpose of the cooperation is to develop and implement a system of industry information and education in the fields set forth in the GDPR (Regulation of European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free flow of such data) as well as the development and implementation of a system for the provision of expert and consultancy services in the scope of RODO within the community of producers and distributors of dietary supplements.
The Polish Federation of Manufacturers and Distributors of Supplements, Employers’ Association, and BDO Technology plan to establish a strategic partnership in the near future to build a reliable knowledge base relative to RODO in the context of industry specific dietary supplements, develop mechanisms for the exchange and dissemination of specialist knowledge in among manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements, physicians and pharmacists and consumers, share information about RODO in cooperating media channels, as well as periodic publication of results of conducted activity in the form of reports and scientific studies.
The Polish Federation of Manufacturers and Distributors of Supplements, Employers’ Association, constantly supports its members in implementing current legal regulations and market requirements. Currently, this is a topic in the field of processing and protection of personal data, in connection with the entry into force, on May 25, 2018, of the Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data “RODO”.
